    • What do I need to provide for collection?

      In order to collect and process your vehicle we will need a photo ID, keys, V5 and your preferred payment method. Due to the Scrap Metal Dealers Act, we are unable to pay cash for scrap.

    • What do I do with my V5?

      It is important to inform the DVLA that the vehicle has been sold for scrap. You can do this here using the document reference number from your most recent V5. We will help you with the paperwork and confirm it has been done correctly. If you don’t have your V5 you can contact the DVLA in writing to let them know.

    • How do I get my vehicle road tax back?

      Completing the above, informing the DVLA you have sold the vehicle will issue a refund in tax, if one is due. If you pay your vehicle tax by direct debit please make sure that the DVLA have processed your application before cancelling the payment. Please be aware, it can take four weeks to process the request.

    • How does the collection work?

      Collection can be arranged by phone or email for a day and time that suits you. We endeavour to provide a same day collection service or a nominated day, if preferred. We aim to make the process as easy as possible for you, providing excellent customer service and making sure all your legal paperwork is correctly processed.
